In short: Ask Me is Indicate me’s feature for exploring customer dialogues with plain-language questions — no report request, no filtering, no waiting. Every answer is validated against the underlying conversations before it’s presented. Carglass Norway used equivalent analysis to confirm a pattern in their team’s behavior that would otherwise have taken weeks to uncover manually.
The most common bottleneck in a CS manager’s day isn’t a lack of data. It’s the wait between a question and an answer.
“Why are customers contacting us right now?” is a question CS managers ask themselves several times a week. The answer already exists in the customer conversations. But surfacing it has traditionally required a report request, a sample of calls to listen through, or an analyst building a query after the fact.
Ask Me is the part of Indicate me’s platform where you ask questions about your customer dialogues in plain language and get a structured, decision-ready answer — not a report to interpret.
The process is simple:
That’s the difference between ordering a report and having a conversation with your own data.
"Now that we’re using Ask Me more, we have far greater freedom to ask questions that yield actual answers, rather than just searching for specific keywords. We get a much broader perspective. If we have a new product launch, for instance, we can see exactly how many customers have reached out to ask about it.”
- Sara Granlund, Productspecialist, ATG
Contact reason analysis, described in August’s pillar article, requires every contact to be categorized and quantified. That’s the groundwork. Ask Me is the next step: once the categorization is in place, the CS manager can ask it directly — “Which contact reasons have increased since the campaign launched?” — and get the answer within seconds, not after the next reporting cycle.
That’s the difference between ordering a report and having a conversation with your own data.
Ask Me isn’t limited to the CS manager. Depending on permissions, product managers, marketing leads, and leadership can ask their own questions directly in the platform — the same kind of questions they’d otherwise have asked customer service to answer in a meeting:
That reduces the CS manager’s role as a middleman for every individual question, freeing up time for what actually requires human judgment: what the organization should do with
It's not just a theoretical point. Lyreco Norge has made exactly this journey together with Indicate me.
It's about moving away from gut feeling — believing and assuming that's the reality out there with our customers — to now actually knowing, concretely, what it's about. What they think, what they need, and what they've been satisfied with.

What is Ask Me?
Ask Me is the feature within Indicate me’s Customer Intelligence Platform where you explore your customer dialogues by asking questions in plain language. Every answer is validated against the underlying conversations and can be visualized as charts, tables, or trends.
How is Ask Me different from a regular dashboard?
A dashboard shows predefined metrics. Ask Me answers questions you didn’t know you’d ask until you asked them, and can be followed up with new questions in real time instead of requiring a new report request.
Can anyone in the organization use Ask Me, or just customer service?
Permissions are configurable. Leadership, product teams, and marketing can be given access to ask their own questions, while sensitive data sources or Deep Mode can be restricted to selected roles.
